Swisslinx are currently looking for a Masterplanning consultant to join a fully remote contracting opportunity until the end of the year.

The daily rate would be CHF 350, and you would need your own limited liability company or similar to apply.

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Masterplanning Specialist. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage planned dates and dependencies, develop and maintain an MS Project-based masterplan, and enhance existing semi-automated solutions. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing the ISP (Integrated Systems Planning) update loop in an iterative manner. This role will involve close collaboration with other teams to ensure effective execution of masterplans and updates.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive masterplan using MS Project, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
Manage planned dates, dependencies, and critical paths within the masterplan to optimize project timelines and resource allocation.
Utilize and enhance existing semi-automated solutions, including feedback loops to master data, to facilitate efficient planning and execution processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and inputs for masterplan updates.
Lead the iterative ISP update loop process, incorporating feedback and adjustments to ensure the masterplan reflects the most current information.
Provide regular updates and reports on masterplan progress, identifying potential risks or delays and proposing mitigation strategies.
Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and incorporate them into the masterplan.
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within masterplanning and ISP update processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in masterplan management, preferably in a complex project environment.
Proficiency in MS Project or similar project management software.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and locations.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Experience working with offshore teams, particularly in India, is preferred but not required.
